Those that state never change transmission fluid are the same idiots also say change your oil every 3000 miles. Many tech’s I spoke say that a new software update is needed as well not a relearn. 9/3/2020, 2017 Camaro. I also had a soggy first shift of the day 1st to 2nd gear (withing 2-3 minutes of starting the car) he said that was normal ,the trans was filling 3 clutch packs , I’ll pay attent to see if 3 -4 minutes of idling helps , otherwise not a worry for me.the car is awesome , better then my 2002 Z06. I am probably dreaming the impossible dream, but I hope the service has improved. May try this….
I don’t get the shuddering that many complain about but get a hesitation upon a part-throttle at low speeds after a stop or slowing down to a near stop.
GM get us a permanent fix /repair so that we can enjoy driving the American legend or bring a check and open a museum. I’m very frustrated because my car certainly doesn’t drive like a Cadillac should. Sounds like you need to talk to a different dealer that’s willing to help you out.

I’m having transmission issues on 2015 gmc Denali truck .. any recalls GM will not give me a hard answer they keep dragging out the process, and will not use email, only phone class (which I am recording) I am disgusted that so many people are having the same problem and GM is unable to fix it nor make it right.
Even as I suggested TC replacement based on these forums, it was never a consideration. Did the fluid swap…trans is worse than before…Dealer refuses to do the torque converter saying its shifting normal….. Has anyone tried Instant shutter fix hearing this solves the issue? Franklin Tennessee…. first they flushed, it came back, then they swapped the TC, then it came back, then swapped fluids again, now it just got back out of the shop and they said this fix is like Santa…just gotta believe it will work?
Jeremiah, another new fluid? Warranty is covering it but now instead of just the cost of a fluid change they have a new drivetrain to own up to. Give it some miles Jake..It will come back, sorry.
