I have the G2. Also, I completely agree that it is a great option and I do kinda have a natural affinity towards it. The 40s&w still holds 10+1. Zero failures to feed or extract. I personally have sold over 600 to 800 of these guns and only had 1 returned with problems. Ease of operation and accuracy at the range caused me to make this my primary c/c pistol. I own two of these. The gun allows you to mount a light underneath on its integral accessory rail. Those who have appreciated 9mm pistols have also been drawn to this pistol in general. Best of all was the price! It used to be that if you bought a Taurus (especially a semi-auto), some fellow shooter might hand you a quarter and say “flip it – there’s the same chance of it coming up heads as of you getting a good pistol”, or words to that effect. Called taurus and was told to send it back but a 12+ week turn around time on a gun i couldn't get 20 rounds through brand new. Have a G2C and it predecessor the PT111 G2. Two main differences between the PT-111 Pro and the G2C are the stippled grip of the G2C and the lack of the Taurus key-lock security system.

I have owned various Taurus pistols throughout my life and have found them to be okay in quality but this pistol actually surprised me. The number one most important thing in a CCW is that it is reliable and Taurus really nailed that part with this. - It's not just right-wingers and 2nd amendment zealots who are armed and trained. Gun people tend to be very kind, patient and understanding but, can be eccentric and are very, very touchy about safety. I've put maybe 5 or 600 rounds through my first pistol and it has only failed on maybe 3 rounds. I find that the only "long " pull is the 1st one to defeat the trigger safety. For any nay sayers, i stopped trying to fire it after multi fail to fire or firng after the trigger is released. Hey ggiese....did you get your gun back? One of the best characteristics that stood out to us was the flat dark earth finish. The finger extension magazines don’t cause the gun to print, at least in my experience. The security system was, to put it politely, not well liked.
